This is Baihui Chen. I am a PhD. student at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). I'm in the X-Group, supervised by Prof. Xueliang Li. I received my Master's degree from the Communication University of China in 2022 and was a Smart Media Lab member.​

 

I specialize in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Human Robot Interaction (HRI),  with a research focus on enhancing mental well-being through affective computing and haptic technologies.  My work explores how emotionally expressive and meaningful interactions can be enabled through morphing structures, soft social robots, and remote interaction techniques. I am interested in the opportunities brought by new technologies!
